Privacy policy

ContractorCRM is a business tool contractors use to track opportunities, proposals, projects, invoices and payments. This policy covers the ContractorCRM web app and the ContractorCRM Android and iPhone apps, which open the same service.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, role and company, and a hashed password.
• Business records you enter: customer and contact details (names, phone numbers, email and site addresses), opportunities, proposals, projects, tasks, schedules, invoices, payments and expenses.
• Files you upload: documents and photos attached to jobs.
• Communications you choose to connect: if your company connects a Gmail mailbox, the emails you send and sync through it; if calling is enabled, call records and transcripts.
• Sign-in cookies: used only to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Only to run the service for your company: showing your records to your team, generating proposals and invoices, sending the emails you ask it to send, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

• Amazon Web Services hosts the app, its database and uploaded files, and delivers outgoing email.
• Google, only if your company connects a Gmail mailbox.
• Twilio or Telnyx, only if your company enables calling.
• Anthropic, only if calling is enabled, to summarise call transcripts into notes.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed, and connected-mailbox tokens are encrypted at rest. Each company's records are visible only to that company's users, according to their role.

Keeping and deleting data

Records are kept while your company's account is active. To delete your account or your company's data, email gursaroopsinghkang@gmail.com from the account's email address and we will delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep billing records.
